WE LOVE A GAME CHANGER!

What a dramatic change in England's test cricket mentality we experienced yesterday. In one of the greatest test matches I've witnessed, England's philosophy of not losing has vanished under Ben and his partnership with Rob Key and Brendan McCullum.
To take on the challenge of 299 to win in the 4th innings, especially when you are 56/3 and Joe Root is out, was refreshing and awesome.
Ben was fortunate that he joined Jonny Bairstow at the wicket who played the innings of his test career, thrashing the New Zealand attack for 136, with 21 boundaries including 7 sixes!
It was swashbucking stuff and the Nottingham crowd, let in for free, loved it.
Fair play to New Zealand, they scored 837 runs in defeat and are an enterprising side too.
In the match there were 1,675 runs scored and 35 wickets fell. There were 249 boundaries, a record in a single test match.
But, it's all about the mentality of Ben Stokes - a real game changer!
